What You Can Do After Logging In

Your account security is rm1's top priority. Every login session is protected by multiple layers of security operating automatically in the background — all you need to do is use a strong password and keep your login credentials safe.

All communication between your device and rm1's servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 with 256-bit SSL encryption — the same standard used by major Malaysian banks like Maybank and CIMB. This means even if someone tries to intercept your network traffic while you're logging in to rm1 over public Wi-Fi, they won't be able to read any of the data being transmitted.

Your rm1 password is never stored as plain text on our servers. rm1 uses a one-way bcrypt hashing algorithm, which means passwords cannot be decrypted — not by hackers, and not by rm1 staff. This is an industry-standard security practice that rm1 follows without exception.

Rm1's login monitoring system automatically detects suspicious login attempts. If we detect access from a new device or an unfamiliar location, you may be asked to verify your identity via an OTP sent to your registered phone number. This is an added security measure to ensure only you can access your rm1 account.

Rm1 also offers two-factor authentication (2FA), which you can enable from your account settings after logging in. With 2FA active, every login requires both your password and an OTP from your registered phone number — making your account nearly impossible to breach even if your password is leaked.

After a period of inactivity, rm1 will automatically log out your session as a security measure — particularly useful if you forget to log out yourself, especially on a shared device. You can adjust the inactivity timeout period in your rm1 account settings.

One important thing to remember: rm1 will never ask for your password or PIN via email, SMS, or Live Chat. If you receive any communication claiming to be from rm1 that requests your login details, it is a phishing attempt. Do not share any information and report it immediately to support@rm1.onl.

Having Trouble Logging In?

There are a few common reasons why you may have trouble logging in to your rm1 account. Here is a guide to resolving the most frequent issues:

Wrong or forgotten password: Click the "Forgot Password?" link on the rm1 login form and enter your registered phone number. rm1 will send an OTP via SMS to reset your password. The process takes less than 5 minutes. If you no longer use that number, contact support@rm1.onl for manual assistance.

Account temporarily locked: After several consecutive failed login attempts, rm1's security system will temporarily lock your account as a protective measure. Wait 30 minutes before trying again, or contact rm1 support to unlock your account sooner.

Technical or browser issue: Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or log in using a private (incognito) window. If the issue persists, try a different browser or access rm1 from another device.

Account suspended pending KYC verification: In some cases, rm1 may require identity verification (KYC) before granting full account access. This typically happens before your first major withdrawal or when unusual activity is detected. Have a copy of your MyKad ready and contact support@rm1.onl to complete the KYC process quickly.
